Is Eli ZERO safe?
Eli ZERO is designed to meet all U.S. federal safety standards for low-speed vehicles and be equipped with automotive safety windshield glass, three-point safety belts, turn signals, headlamps and brake lights, horn, mirrors, windshield wipers and on-road tires.
Can I modify the top speed on Eli ZERO?
We strongly advise against modifying the speed limit set on the Eli ZERO. Eli ZERO limit its top speed to comply with regulations and standards set forth in the NEV category. As a federally regulated vehicle class, NEV is required to set its speed limit to a maximum of 25 mph to ensure both the safety of its drivers and the pedestrians.
